Sailin' UP from Old Quarry

1997 by Ariel Cinii [excerpt]

(original lyrics to a similar traditioantional folk song as
"True Hands of Fate" by Jon Anderson)

We are artisans and some tough old hands,
And we're known for our quality stone.
We have worked for years with our ropes and gears,
Just to get our prizes home.

Upsidaysium can be lots of fun,
When its handled properly.
It's our craft, you see, to make stone fly free,
And sail UP from that Old Quarry.

Sailin' UP from Old Quarry, me boys,
Sailin' UP from Old Quarry.
We make boulders skate like they're featherweights,
Sailin' UP from Old Quarry.

Now, it's widely known that a ship of stone,
Would sink down to the ocean floor.
But the airland rock comes as quite a shock.
'Ts its nature just to soar.

Bound in wooden frames, we shall give them names,
And propulsive energy,
And we'll sail the sky to our homeland high,
from that blessed Old Quarry.
